Leaving the kids after an extended visit was incredibly hard. You get used to their smiles everyday and getting to be involved with their daily lives. Trips to the library, picking them up from school, dinner plans and just hanging out...all make this Nana very happy. But after 5 weeks in SoCal it was time to move along.  

Next destination; The warmth of Lake Havasu where we spent a few weeks on BLM land boondocking. We have been to this location a few times now, and once again we found a great site with plenty of privacy for morning yoga and wide open desert overlooks to enjoy the evening sunsets. Even managed to make it to the Havasu Balloon Festival. To much wind for them to take off, but was fun to walk around and see them inflate.
