It’s always a great time when our kids come to visit. But what is even better, is the thought of them coming here to live. Over the past year or so, since they purchased their property, we have anxiously awaited the day that they will make Clarkdale their home. The plans came a little bit closer this past week when Travis was here to start mapping out the property where the shop and houses will go. Bob and he spent many hours over on their two acres figuring out and measuring where the septic would go, what the easements and setbacks were, and how everything was going to fit to take advantage of the amazing views of the red rocks of Sycamore Canyon and Sedona to the east, and Mingus Mountain and Jerome to the west. Everything is starting to come together, and we can’t wait till we can ring them up and say, “Hey, what’s for dinner” or “Want to take a hike this afternoon”.
