We have returned to one of our Happy Places, the Verde Valley of Arizona. For the last five years we have made this area our home. First for a month, then the next year we added a few more weeks -and the last few years we have spent a few months. Encompassing Cottonwood, Sedona, and Jerome the Verde Valley has so much to offer, we don’t seem to get tired of the area. Hikes and bike trails fill our days with adventures. The first few weeks have flown by - we even had 7” of snow at one point. Our campsite is close enough to the Verde river that you can hear the roar of the snow melt as it makes its way down stream.
This year we have had the added bonus of a few friends joining us. Life just doesn’t get any sweeter than hanging around camp sharing stories and adventures of the past year or so since we were all together.
