Several months back, Bob decided to buy Carson a high-quality mountain bike, hoping to share his passion for riding. We're lucky to have access to over 120 miles of trails just outside our door, winding up the base of Mingus Mountain. After Carson spent a few weeks familiarizing himself with the bike and honing his skills, Bob felt it was time for more challenging trails in Sedona. On a glorious sunny day, while Sara, Travis, Leroy, and I trekked along the "Mezcal" trail, one of my favorites, they embarked on a ride across several trails, eventually joining us at our halfway point. Carson's skills have advanced so significantly that Bob often has him lead on the trails, and together, they've explored many new trails in our vicinity. With Pa’s help, he has mastered navigation using the Trail Forks Pro app, a crucial skill for when he ventures out alone or with others.
They are out there making memories, one mile at a time.
